I’ve never had a pub I could truly call my local until I moved to Llandudno and within five minutes walk of my flat was The Albert.
As in any seaside town there are quite a few pubs but for me if you want good food with a great pint then look no further than The Albert and on top of that you are made to feel welcome and the service is excellent. It is therefore not surprising that you need to book if you want to eat there, especially in the summer.
It describes itself as a family pub and on the whole I would say it’s customers are families and older people. You won’t see too many young people drinking in there.
I’ve never had a bad meal in there or for that matter a pint! They have a good selection of real ales, including some from local breweries.
The food is clearly home made and is definitely a cut above your average pub menu and you won’t complain about small portions and for that reason you may not always want a dessert but they are worth it!
